- Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication credentials when you create an account (including via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In).
- Baby Data: Baby's name, date of birth, gender, and caregiving logs including feeding, sleep, diaper changes, and medicine entries that you voluntarily provide.
- Health Data: Growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference) and postpartum wellness check-ins that you voluntarily log.
- AI Insights: We process your logged data through AI services to generate personalized insights and recommendations. This data is transmitted securely and not stored by the AI provider.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version for troubleshooting and improving the app experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the CuddleCharts app and its features
- Generate AI-powered insights and pattern detection based on your logged data
- Create pediatrician visit preparation summaries
- Enable caregiver sharing and real-time sync between family members
- Send notifications and reminders based on your baby's patterns
- Improve and develop new features
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database platform with enterprise-grade security. We implement the following security measures:
- Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring users can only access their own data
- Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS
- Secure authentication with email verification
- API keys and secrets stored in secure server-side environments
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data in the following limited circumstances:
- Caregiver Access: When you invite a caregiver to your baby's profile, they can view and log data for that baby.
- AI Processing: Log data is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate insights. This data is processed in real-time and not retained by Anthropic.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and download your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of AI-powered insights
- Revoke caregiver access at any time
Children's Privacy
CuddleCharts is designed for parents and caregivers to track their children's development. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. All data is entered by the parent or authorized caregiver.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (including baby profiles, logs, and insights) will be permanently removed within 30 days.
